Bailey - Champion and Superstar of the Future!

Bailey came to Up-Grade, struggling to make sense of his educational journey. Smart, sharp, witty and dynamic, Bailey had all the tools for greatness but no environment within which to flourish. Like with so many young people, the mainstream setting was not the right fit for Bailey and so, like so many, finding the right fit was so, so important.!

Congratulations to one of our students who has chosen to extend his training with Up-Grade by joining our partner gym Freestyle Combat Academy in the search to better himself.

HR has successfully completed his 7 week course in Youth Coaching, GCSE PE revision and kickboxing training. HR attended every session, achieved a double grade in his physical test and 83% in his written examination. Well done, HR!

The 'Running Start' was a huge success.
By exploring the kind of work the year sixes could expect to encounter in the new year, as well as sprinkling the course with confidence-boosting management strategies, every young person left the course excited and prepared for the new journey ahead!

We worked through tips and tricks for the exam, as well as working our way through past papers in preparation ... mixed with some energy boosting exercise as well, of course!
