One-to-one coaching

Developing a physical skill-set of your own is not only great for your physical health and over-all quality of life, it is enjoyable, empowering and an essential component of positive mental health.

Time and a place!

Not every young person is ready or willing to join a big club with busy classes and unrealistic expectations. This is why Up-Grade come to where the young person is comfortable, and we come armed with strategies and techniques for success.

Whether working from home or from a designated, appropriate area, every young person is provided a working portfolio of achievement they can access and work from during each session. This allows the young person to view and take ownership over their journey, collecting certificates, evidence of grading success and skill-mastery at every stage.

The therapeutic relationship

Practicing in close proximity with a personal coach provides a comfortable environment for the young person to grow and develop within, as a practitioner and as a person. Some of the best therapeutic work and talk can be achieved when the young person is enthused by their work and in-sync with their coach.

It is then, through mastery of skill, discipline and fun, that the blooming of their self-esteem can be supported and nurtured.

Unique programs

Each and every program is tailored specifically to the needs of the individual young-person, ensuring measurable progression is planned for and achieved over periods of time appropriate to the young person.
We ensure success in every program with careful, expert planning for any young person with any need.

And finally...

At Up-Grade we know that activity helps release dopamine (motivation, drive and pleasure), serotonin (compulsions and memory) and norepinephrine (concentration, alertness and energy), which positively contribute to a young person's mood and cognition.

Up-Grade experiences positive practical, measurable results day-in and day-out, and it's all based in neuroscience and behavioural therapy theory.
